Dr. Aimee Dawson
Dr. Aimee Dawson received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University at the New England Medical Center in Boston after completing a master's in public health from George Washington University in Washington, DC, and a bachelor's in neuroscience and behavior from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She is focused on comprehensive and compassionate care and derives personal fulfillment from addressing the needs of anxious patients. Dr. Dawson has a special interest in dental implants and esthetics and believes in incorporating collaboration and relaxation techniques with her patients to optimize treatment. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Dawson teaches part-time at the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University. A native of Alabama, Aimee and her Canadian husband, Ewan, enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. She is active in the community and currently sits on the Halifax Community Health Board, as well as the board of the Junior League of Halifax.
