We Provide the Following Treatments:

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin, porcelain facings bonded to the front surface of your teeth. Veneers can be used to mask problems such as dark, discoloured, stained and crooked teeth, close spaces between teeth, or give you the smile you have always dreamed of in as few as two appointments. Many of your favorite stars, from Christie Brinkley to Claudia Schiffer, have had their smiles enhanced with porcelain veneers.

Tooth Colour Restorations

In the past there has been very little choice in the types of fillings used to repair teeth. Often, unsightly silver mercury fillings were used. Times have changed. An exciting variety of strong, lifelike materials is available to fit any need. In teeth where a small repair is needed, a tooth-coloured filling can be used. If the damage is more extensive, a custom-designed porcelain filling may be required.

Whitening

This is a safe and easy process to substantially whiten and brighten teeth. It is a dentist-supervised procedure involving the fabrication of customized trays. The whitening process is accomplished at home with the use of an effective whitening gel over a period of 2-3 weeks. The results can be quite dramatic.

Bonding

Bonding is a process whereby a tooth-coloured material is strongly adhered to your tooth. It is done in only one appointment, often without freezing, and the results look great and can last a long time. Bonding can be done to close spaces, fix unsightly discolourations on teeth, and repair chips and broken teeth.

Recontouring

Cosmetic recontouring involves the conservative reshaping of teeth. The procedure is painless and can usually be completed without freezing. It can solve minor problems such as chipped teeth, mildly rotated teeth, or simply enhance your smile. Recontouring can help you achieve the smile you deserve.

Smile Makeover

A smile makeover is a process whereby the entire smile is dramatically enhanced utilizing one or more of the procedures mentioned to the left. Everyone knows how important a beautiful smile is in today's appearance-conscious society, and the positive effect it has on a person's well being. With today's innovative techniques and state-of-the-art materials, anyone can have the smile they deserve.

Crowns

A dental crown, commonly referred to as a "cap", is a restoration that completely covers a tooth. Crowns can be made of porcelain, gold, or a combination of the two, depending on the specific requirements of the individual tooth. Crowns are used in cases where a tooth is beyond repair with a filling or other dental procedures. Crowns mimic the size and shape of a natural tooth, and cared for properly, they can last for many years.

Bridges

A bridge consists of at least two caps or crowns with one or more replacement teeth connected in between. It is a non-removable replacement for missing teeth and can be an alternative to removable partial dentures.

Implants

Dental implants are special posts that are placed in the upper or lower jaw to replace one or more missing teeth. They can be used to support crowns, bridges or dentures. Restorations secured with implants are extremely strong and long lasting. If you have spaces in your smile or if you have loose dentures, implants may be the solution you've been looking for.

Orthodontics

Orthodontics (braces) is often the ideal treatment to correct gapped, crooked, crowded, or overlapped teeth. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children have an orthodontic screening no later than age 7. Treatment is also possible for adults of all ages. We follow innovative techniques that allow treatment without tooth extraction or jaw surgery in the majority of cases. Orthodontics can give you the smile you deserve. Please contact us for an evaluation so that we may show you what orthodontics can do for you.

You'll be pleased to know that the Invisalign® technique is one treatment we can offer, if appropriate.

TMJ (Jaw Joint) Disorders

Many people suffer with an undiagnosed disorder. TMJ symptoms can vary greatly and can be very difficult to diagnosis. They may include any or all of the following symptoms:

  • Headaches / Migraines
  • Facial pain / soreness around the jaw joints, clicking, popping or grating noises
  • Neck, back or shoulder pain
  • Limited jaw movement or locking jaw
  • Numbness in the fingers and arms
  • Teeth grinding or clenching
  • Sensitive and sore teeth (especially upon waking in the morning)
  • Worn or cracked teeth, or toothache with no evidence of decay, infection or trauma
  • Dizziness
  • Sinus, eye or ear pain
  • Congestion, ringing or stuffiness of the ears
  • Ringing in the ears (Tinnitus)
  • Gum recession

  • If you have one or more of these symptoms and an underlying medical condition has not been diagnosed, you may be suffering from a TMJ disorder.

    Gum Therapy

The gums, and the underlying bone, form the foundation for a healthy smile. Even with ideal brushing and flossing, plaque and tartar can accumulate near the gumline. Composed of bacteria, plaque and tartar cause inflammation of the gums. This inflammation of the gums starts as the mildest form of gum disease - gingivitis. As the process worsens, advanced gum disease can lead to tooth loss. Regular visits to our dental hygienists bring your gums back to health and keep you smiling. Our gentle and caring team of dental hygienists offers a range of services to help you achieve and maintain oral health.
