Dr. Mary-Anne MacDonald

Dentist Dr. Mary-Anne MacDonald is dedicated to caring for the dental health of her patients in the Halifax community.

About Dr. MacDonald

Mary-Anne, a native Haligonian and graduate of St. Mary’s University, is a passionate and accomplished dentist who provides comprehensive dental treatment.

In 2001, Mary-Anne received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario. Since graduating, Mary-Anne has continued to expand her knowledge in order to provide the very best treatment for her patients.

She has completed numerous intensive courses at highly recognized dental institutes including the Dawson Center in Florida, The Las Vegas Institute (LVI), and TIDE implant certification in Toronto.

Over the past few years Mary-Anne has completed many courses in dental sleep medicine for adults and children. Her passion for this area of dentistry has led to training in myofunctional therapy to help patients with mouth breathing and snoring.

In 2019 Mary-Anne became a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She collaborates with local sleep physicians to help a variety of patients with sleep disordered breathing such as sleep apnea.

Mary-Anne and her husband Michael enjoy spending quality family time with their two children.
